A 2 day workshop covering the digestive system, nutritional requirements and feeding, the focus is on natural feeds as this is only way to truly analyse a diet.

You will learn
- The components of the digestive system and their function
- The action of nutrients
- The nutrients supplied by various feeds
- Signs of excess and/or deficiency of various nutrients
- Supplements and their safe provision
- How to combine feeds to provide adequate nutrition
- How to alter the diet in response to health status
- How to alter the diet in response to work level

You will also learn how to formulate a diet for your horses that you can put into action

Nutrition and Herbs 2 day Workshop

This 2 day workshop will discuss providing a natural diet, and how to incorporate herbs for health in your horses diet.

You will learn
- The nutrients supplied by various feeds 
- Signs of excess and/or deficiency of various nutrients
- Supplements and their safe provision
- How to combine feeds to provide adequate nutrition
- How to balance components to ensure your diet is balanced.

Herbs, Tissue Salts and Bach Therapy


Natural Therapy 2 Day Workshop
Maintaining your horse's optimum health in a natural manner is the discussion of this one day workshop.

You will learn:
- Commonly used herbs, their benefits and various risks,
- when and why to administer these herbs to your horse.
- the use of  Bach Therapy or Flower Essence Therapy in equine behaviour management
- the use of Tissue Salts or biochemics in health management
- Safety
- Observing for changes in health or biological status

It must be remembered that these therapies are an adjunct to veterinary care not a replacement for it.
